Connecting Families with Resources
Friday, October 14th is a 1/2 Day of School. We dismiss at 1:00.
Attention FES Families!
We want to alert you to a new trend that has impacted our students, and that is the "One Chip Challenge" that students have seen on TikTok.
This chip is comprised of some of the hottest peppers on record. The goal is for students to try to "handle" a bite of the chip. Some of the outcomes of eating and even touching the chip can result in a burning mouth, excessive coughing, excessive slobbering, tears, and vomiting. If the dust from the chip touches the skin, it can burn the skin or the eyes if a student has touched the chip and then touched his/her face.
Please watch out for this snack. It is dangerous and should not be in school.
Thank you for supporting us in this effort of keeping all students safe.
Our Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest is coming up! Please note the date change. Pumpkins are due Monday, October 24th.
Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day to the best in the business! We are so grateful for all the hard work your put into our school every day.
It's National Custodian Appreciation Day and no one deserves our gratitude more than the dedicated custodians in the #CarolineFamily! For everything you all do to make our schools clean, healthy and safe for students and staff, we say a big thank you.
